TMT/Stress Test

A TMT (Treadmill Test), also known as a Stress Test, is a diagnostic procedure used to evaluate how the heart responds to physical exertion. It helps identify reduced blood flow to the heart muscles during exercise, which may indicate underlying coronary artery disease or other cardiac conditions. During the test, the patient walks on a treadmill while their heart rate, blood pressure, and ECG are continuously monitored.

Dr. Vishwanath Yadav recommends TMT for patients experiencing symptoms like chest pain on exertion, breathlessness, or fatigue, and for those at risk of heart disease. The test is also useful in assessing the effectiveness of treatments or cardiac procedures, and in determining a patient’s fitness level before undergoing surgery or starting a new exercise program.

Conducted under expert supervision, the TMT is a safe and reliable way to detect exercise-induced cardiac issues. Dr. Yadav ensures a careful review of the results and provides clear guidance on further treatment or lifestyle changes based on the findings. Regular stress testing can play a key role in preventing serious heart events and maintaining long-term cardiovascular health.
